Lauren Alaina received a sweet gift from a fan after the country star lost her grandmother. She opened up about the loss and the heartfelt moment she received the gift in her grandmother's honor on Tuesday afternoon (May 7).

Alaina posted a black-and-white video on Instagram that captures a moment during a recent performance. The video arrived days after Alaina said she needed to take a break from social media while she coped with the loss in the family. That show is where the young fan, a girl named Darci, handed the “Road Less Traveled” singer a bracelet with her grandmother’s name on it. Alaina shared in the video: “My grandmother passed away last week & this precious fan of mine (Darci) gave me a bracelet with her name on it during my show. I kept looking down at my wrist for the rest of the show & I could feel her with me. I love you and miss you forever, Tootsie.

“Sweet grandmother Tootsie would absolutely love the bracelet this angel on earth brought me,” the Georgia-born singer-songwriter added in her caption on Instagram. “God bless little girls who love country music. Thank you Darci for this gift & thank you Jesus for making us all one big family. 🕊️”
