Reba McEntire shared her reaction to Kelly Clarkson’s cover of one of the Oklahoma-born country star’s 90s ballads on her daytime talk show.

Clarkson performed “Till You Love Me” on The Kelly Clarkson Show. McEntire debuted the song in 1994 on her 10-track studio album, Read My Mind: “The sunlight, the moonlight are beyond my control/ And there are stars in the heavens that I'll never hold/ But if dreams give you power/ Then I'm strong enough to offer my heart/ And never give up till you love me/ Till you love me.”

“Thanks KC for covering my song [‘Till You Love Me’] on your show today! Did y’all catch her beautiful rendition?” McEntire, who has shared a longtime friendship with Clarkson, said as she shared the video of the chemistry star’s performance on Wednesday evening (May 1). Some commenters responding to McEntire’s post on X, formerly Twitter, wrote that Clarkson “honored that song so well,” and applauds the “beautiful” performance.
